A problem-solution essay describes a problem. Then it explains a solution or possible solutions to the problem. A problem-solution essay typically includes three parts:
- An introductory paragraph with a general introduction, identifying the problem and a thesis statement.
- 2 body paragraphs: Body paragraph 1 – Introduce the problems. Body paragraph 2 – Introduce solutions.
- A conclusion with an explanation of how the best solution is helpful and make a general comment.
